There are people who go head banging on alcohol and more on weekends and then those who look forward to healthy brunches. I am one of the latter. After being a late night owl for years, I have completely given into the childhood rhyme ‘Early to bed and early to rise’.
It is such a revived life; one that feels more in place. Waking up all fresh on Sunday mornings with nothing hanging on in the head, working out a bit and then going to a sumptuous brunch is how most weekends are now.
Today was kinda similar but instead of a proper brunch place, we spent noon at Neue Heimat’s Sunday Village Market. It was perfectly sunny, nice music, a lot of good food and some well dressed people to add to the vibe.
I ate….well start counting- “Korean veggie Bibimbap, kimchi taco, tofu dim sums with soy sauce, Hungarian style beetroot dumplings, lavender vegan carrot cake and a glass of spritz to smooth it all down. It was all so good that I still wanted more; specially considering that I had to share the portions with my best friend disguised as husband.”
So when in Berlin, do go here on a Sunday.
Moving on to outfits, I am sharing here a look that is extremely safe and stylish for all the brunch days when you are confused and short on time. Pull out your fitted blue denim, a crisp white casual shirt, black heels, some accessories and a blazer to keep you warm just in case and you are good to go.
