FCUK unveils Autumn Winter

September 8, 2010

UK Fashion House French Connection has yet again unveiled a stylish autumn-winter collection. The season will begin with the Parisian chick style of 1920’s, from a crepe draped dress to oversized shoulder detailing. The jerseys are restructured with traditional prints, cowl neck detail and shoulder pads.

Along with the season progression, the look shifts to the elegant glamour of the 80’s with the power woman flaunting everything she’s got. Shimmery sequin with contrast flower prints, the dresses are smartly decorated with beads, sequins and padded military shoulders.

Trousers are back in style with Cropped Military Pants. Girls can flaunt masculine cuts or super straight cigarette pants with ankle zip. To cover yourself up go for rich, luxurious fabrics in deep hues to warm up your winters. FCUK will be sporting some double breasted woollens with a perfectly fitting bat wing sleeve detail. There will be new cuts with ruffled shoulders; shorter cropped and clean collarless designs dominating the winter scene.

If men are wondering what’s for them, then they can chill as what they need to flaunt the most is their rugged and masculine wardrobe that reflect their unrefined and earthy nature. This French brand is featuring a neutral palette, sophisticated clean lines, and natural fabrics mixed with a healthy dose of heritage tweeds, denim, and checks.

Denim will be designed in a slim silhouette, monochrome and mushroom tones set off against contrasting shine materials for a clean modern sportswear feel.

For the deep winters men could pick the quilted jackets from the collection. Tweed effect knitwear and vintage look eccentric floral print shirts teamed with scarlet denim and kitsch bobble hats are all here.

The colours ruling the palette are deep purple and black mix on mini cords with over washed checked shirts and technical flecked knits to continue the feel and complete a cosy tactile wardrobe for the winter man. The look shall remain minimal with simple and seamless, shirts, jersey trousers and sweatshirts like that of an outdoor man.
